Diseñador para Web en Barcelona

In Fluendo we are looking for experience in web design, user design and ergonomics. At Fluendo, we think that the look and feel of our website is one of the keys to our success. Also, since our products are related to the multimedia world, we are looking for a designer who can imprint personality to our products, somebody who’s able to visually relate them with high technology, entertainment and fun.

The successful candidate will be building Fluendo’s visual identity on and off line, creating the corporate and community websites (together with the marketing and the technical team), and creating and improving the user interface of our DVD Player, Media Center and any other future products.

Requirements

- Full command of designing tools (Photoshop, Gimp, Illustrator, etc)

- Provide detailed descriptions of his/her work on the web to the technical department.

- Fluent communication with web developer.

- Good command of Flash.

- Strong understanding of visual trends in websites.

- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Dreamweaver

- Good English speaking skills.

- Location in Barcelona mandatory.
Extra requirements

- Notions of Django framework

- Notions of Phyton

- Notions of Java

- Experience with audio/video/multimedia will be a plus.

- Must be able to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.

- Ability to multi-task.

- Good verbal and writing skills in English and Spanish.

Estatut Treball Autònom; proposta

Porqué los diseñadores, ilustradores, animadores, diseñadores webs y tantos otros profesionales del diseño y la imagen tenemos un estatuto que roza la esclavitud sin derecho al paro, casi sin bajas por enfermedad, ni maternidad, con pensiones de miseria, con impuestos abusivos y tantas otras desventajas respecto a los otros trabajadores ya es hora de que empezamos a movernos.

Por esta razón, el Colegio de Diseñadores de Cataluña ha abierto su esbozo de propuesta para un estatuto del trabajador autónomo que tenga en cuenta a los profesionales de la imagen y el diseño.

Si es un rollo y si, ya sabemos que no tienes tiempo para esto, pero no olvides que es tu futuro.

Y no pienses que ya lo arreglarán o le dedicarán su tiempo otros colegas, porqué esta actitud  es una de las razones por la que todavía no tienes paro, si te pones enfermo perderás tu estudio, si no tienes trabajo igualmente pagarás impuestos, si te quedas embarazada casi no tendrás baja, si un cliente no te paga nadie te ayudará, si un cliente se torea tus contratos nadie te dará soporte y tantas otras cosas.
