Senior Designer in London

Arias UK are looking for a Senior Designer to join our expanding team in London, W1. The role involves heading and developing the creative arm of Arias UK. With such responsibility, the ideal candidate should be an outstanding designer, enthusiastic with great team-building skills.

Here at Arias we cover numerous digital media formats and are taking on new ones all the time. Here’s a list of our current services and what the design team cover:

- DVD & Blu-Ray Authoring: Motion Menu Design
- Web Design and Implementation: Online Design: HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Flash & Flash Animation
- Mobile Content production and delivery: Interface design
- Internet TV production and delivery: Interface design
- Live Web Streaming: Interface design
- Digital Media marketing applications: Social networking apps
- Post Production: Trailers, stings, straps, short-form editing
- Production: Art directing together with in-house Producers
- Print: Brochures and other mediums that may arise
- Pitching, Presenting & Project Management: Attending, help develop and present creative pitches. Being involved in various stages of a projects life cycle, from initial brainstorms and idea generation, right through to the production of the final end product

Programs that must be known exceptionally well:
- PhotoShop, After effects, Illustrator, Flash.

Programs that would be useful to have knowledge in:
- Final Cut pro, 3D Studio Max (or any other 3D software), In Design (or any other print design software).

The more services & programs that can be covered the better; however the ability to quickly pick up unfamiliar/new ones will be essential.

PERSONALITY
Our high-end clients and projects mean that deadlines can be tight so the ability to take control and work easily under pressure is crucial. As head of the design arm the candidate should be able to speak to clients on the phone and should be happy to join the management team for a spot of client entertaining…

This role gives the right candidate a fantastic opportunity to grow the creative department, employing additional designers to manage as well as seeking new creative formats for the company to invest in. Keeping up to date with creative news, events, competitions and even helping the sales team seek out new clients would also be a bonus.
